CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 375-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 8.55 g, 9 h). Pegasos flying left; below, Ϙ. Rev. Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet; below chin, Δ; behind neck guard, I and Artemis running right, holding branch over her left shoulder and torch in her right hand. BCD Corinth 133. Calciati 457. HGC 4, 1848. Ravel 1081. Lovely iridescent toning and a wonderful reverse of particularly fine style. Minor area of flatness on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
