CARTHAGE. Circa 310-290 BC. Stater (Electrum, 19 mm, 7.43 g, 12 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple-pendant earring and elaborate necklace; in field to left, pellet. Rev. Horse standing right; below ground line, three pellets. Jenkins & Lewis Group V, 295-7. MAA 12. SNG Copenhagen 975. Nicely toned and of fine style. A few faint marks, otherwise, good very fine.

From a German collection and reportedly from a collection in Reutlingen, formed in the early 2000s (with collector's ticket).
