Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.13 g, 6 h). 𐤕𐤓𐤒𐤋𐤌𐤔𐤓 (RSMLQRT in Punic) Charioteer driving quadriga galloping to right, holding reins in his right hand and kentron in his left; above, Nike flying left, crowning the charioteer with a wreath. Rev. Head of Tanit-Persephone to left, wearing wreath of grain leaves, triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; around, four dolphins. HGC 2, 742. Jenkins, Punic, 64 (O21/R49). SNG Lloyd 1606 (same dies). Beautifully toned and with a fine Carthaginian style reverse. Struck from a somewhat worn obverse die, otherwise, about extremely fine.
