Nude and helmeted warrior riding horse galloping to left, holding bridles in his right hand and small round shield and two spears in his left; below, Δ. Rev. ΤΑΡΑΣ Youthful oikist, nude, riding dolphin to left, holding kantharos in his right hand and resting his left on the dolphin; below, E and small dolphin left above waves. Fischer-Bossert 647 (V251/R499). HN Italy 870. SNG ANS 904 (same dies). SNG Paris 1748 (same dies). Vlasto 387 (same dies). Beautiful old collection toning and of lovely style. Minor marks and with a small die break on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
