TIBET, Qīng Chinese authority. 1724-1913. Tangka 15-24 = AD 1890 (Silver, 27 mm, 4.73 g), 'Kong-par' tangka, Tibet. Ornate lotus; around, the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism (parasol, pair of fishes, treasure vase, lotus, white-spiraling conch shell, endless knot, victory banner, golden wheel). Rev. ༡༥ ༢༤ (year '15-24' in Tibetan script) inside a square; surrounded by swirl patterns and dots. KM (CA) 13.1. Well struck for this type and lightly toned. Small deposits, otherwise, extremely fine.
