Rupee (Silver, 22 mm, 8.45 g, 5 h), Peshawar, VS 1892 = AD 1835. ‘Gobindshahi’ Couplet followed by date, ‘dēg-u tēgh-u fath-u nusrat bē dirang, yāft az Nānak Gurū Gōbind Singh. 1892’ (‘The cauldron [to feed], the sword [to defend], victory and divine assistance were attained immediately through Nanak Guru Gobind Singh. 1892’ in Persian). Rev. ‘zarb-i Pēshāwar sana-yi 1892 julūs-i [maymanat maʾnūs]’ (‘Struck in Peshawar, in the year 1892 of the prosperous reign’ in Persian); pipal leaf symbol at the center. Herrli 13.02.04. KM 98.2.
