Khedive's Sudan Medal AH 1314 = 1897 (Silver, 70x39 mm, 52.66 g, 12 h), on Egyptian and British forces for service during the reconquest of the Sudan in the Mahdist War. Shield superimposed over a trophy of flags and arms; below, tablet inscribed 'The recovery of Sudan' in Arabic, date below. Rev. Arabic cypher of the Khedive, date below. With 'Firket' and 'Hafir' clasps and without edge insription. Nicely toned. Very minor marks and edge nicks, otherwise, extremely fine.
