KYRENAICA. Kyrene. Circa 331-322 BC. Stater (Gold, 19 mm, 8.61 g, 11 h), Damonaktos, magistrate. KYPENAIΩN Nike, wearing long robes and holding kentron in her right hand, driving quadriga to right. Rev. ΔAMΩNAKTOΣ Zeus Ammon standing front, holding Nike in his right hand and lotus-tipped scepter in his left; to left, forepart of a ram standing left. BMC 107 (same dies). Jameson 2530 (same dies). Naville 69 (same dies). Very rare. A few light marks, otherwise, very fine.
