A beautifully toned Persian siglos

PERSIA, Achaemenid Empire. Time of Darios I to Xerxes II, circa 500-485 BC. Siglos (Silver, 15 mm, 5.32 g), Lydo-Milesian standard, Sardes. Persian king or hero in kneeling/running stance to right, holding spear in his right hand and bow in his left. Rev. Rectangular incuse punch. BMC Arabia pl. XXV, 18. Carradice Type IIIa and pl. XI, 14-5. I. Carradice, Two Achaemenid hoards, NC 1998, pl. 5, 115-7 (same dies). SNG Berry 1448. Beautifully toned and well struck for the issue. Minor traces of overstriking on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
