LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 540-510 BC. Stater (Silver, 29 mm, 7.73 g, 12 h). MET Ear of barley with eight grains; around, border of dots. Rev. Ear of barley with eight grains, all incuse; rayed border. HN Italy 1459. Noe Class I, 19. Nicely toned and well struck. Light porosity and faint scratches, otherwise, very fine.
