ISLANDS OFF CARIA, Rhodos. Rhodes. Circa 250-229 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 22 mm, 6.81 g, 12 h), Mnasimachos, magistrate. Radiate head of Helios facing slightly to right. Rev. ΜΝΑΣΙΜΑΧ[ΟΣ] / P - O Rose with bud to right; in field to left, Athena standing left, holding aphlaston in her right hand. Ashton 208. HGC 6, 1439. SNG Keckman 537-8. Lovely iridescent toning. Light marks and with minor weakness on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
