PAPHLAGONIA. Sinope. 3rd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 16.82 g, 12 h). Female head (Sinope-Tyche?) to right, wearing mural crown. Rev. ΣINΩΠEΩN Apollo seated right on omphalos, holding plektron in his right hand and lyre supported on his leg with his left; to right, A/M/H. HGC 7, 402. SNG BM Black Sea 1509 var. (A/M/T on reverse). SNG Lockett 2667. SNG Paris 533 var. (A/M/T on reverse). Very rare. Minor marks, otherwise, about very fine.
