ELIS. Olympia. 90th Olympiad, 420 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 12.01 g, 3 h), signed by the engraver Λ, Hera mint. Head of Hera to right, wearing stephane ornamented with three palmettes; above, HPA; below chin, [Λ]. Rev. F-A Flaming thunderbolt; all within olive wreath. BCD Olympia 63 (same dies). BMC 60 (same dies). HGC 5, 343. Seltman 243 (EA/ηβ). Nicely toned. Minor marks and deposits and with light scratches on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
