THESSALY. Perrhaiboi. 4th-3rd centuries BC. Trichalkon (Bronze, 18 mm, 7.00 g, 1 h). Veiled head of Hera facing slightly to left, wearing plain necklace. Rev. ΠEPPAIBΩ[N] Zeus standing front, head to left, holding thunderbolt in his right hand and long scepter in his left. BCD Thessaly II 558. HGC 4, 156. Rogers 439. Slightly smoothed, otherwise, very fine.

From an American collection, privately acquired from Musa Numismatic Art, ex Classical Numismatic Group 434, 12 December 2018, 33 and previously from the BCD Collection, acquired in January 1988 (with dealer's and collector's tickets).
