CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 380-325 BC. Diobol (Silver, 13 mm, 1.21 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing laureate and crested Attic helmet and pearl necklace. Rev. Herakles kneeling right, holding lowered club in his right hand and strangling the Nemean lion with his left arm. HN Italy 911. SNG ANS 1429. Vlasto 1341. Nicely toned. Somewhat porous and with light marks on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
