SPES AVGG Spes advancing left, holding flower in her right hand and raising skirt with her left. AGK (corr.) 9a. Cunetio 2647. Elmer 791. RIC V.4 792. Struck on an exceptionally heavy and oversized flan. Struck from a somewhat worn obverse die and with minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, very fine.


The coin’s doubled weight and thick rim indicate that it was likely struck by mistake on two flans stacked together.
