[PA]X AV[G] Pax advancing left, holding branch in her right hand and long scepter in her left; in field to left, S. MIR 1222. RIC 502. Heavily double struck. Some traces of corrosion and with minor deposits, otherwise, good fine.


A double strike such as this occurs when, after the first clean impression, the coin is not fully removed from the anvil die and is accidentally struck a second time, noticeably off-centered.
