LICINIANO ET GERMANO / IIVIR / C C A Priest plowing right with yoke of oxen. ACIP 3100a. RPC I 371. A highly unusual piece. Small scratch on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.

The obverse was deliberately defaced, the entire portrait of the emperor having been cut back and scratched out in recessed fashion. This is best explained as a private damnatio memoriae.
