Festival of Isis, second half of the 4th century. AE (Bronze, 20 mm, 1.90 g, 11 h), Rome. ISIS FA-RIA Draped bust of Isis to left, wearing hem-hem crown, holding sistrum in her right hand and dish with a snake on it in her left. Rev. VOTA PVBLICA Isis standing front, head to right, holding sistrum in her right hand and situla in her left. Alföldi 335 and pl. X, 8-9. Very rare. A beautiful piece with an exceptionally detailed rendering of Isis on the obverse. Slightly smoothed and with minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
