Magnentius, 350-353. Maiorina (Bronze, 23 mm, 3.92 g, 6 h), Rome, February-May 350. IMP CAE MAGN-ENTIVS AVG Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Magnentius to right; to left, N. Rev. VICTORIA AVG LIB ROMANOR / R B Victory, on the left, holding palm frond over her left shoulder, and Libertas, on the right, holding transverse scepter in her left hand, both supporting trophy between them. Bastien 437 (no example recorded). RIC 192 var. (unlisted officina). Very rare. A very attractive example with an excellent portrait and a lovely dark green patina. Light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
