KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 14.29 g, 3 h), Amphipolis, struck under Philip II or Alexander III, circa 342/1-329/8. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Young jockey, holding palm frond in his right hand and reins in his left, riding horse to right; below horse, stern. Le Rider 404 (D206/R357). SNG ANS 544 (same dies). Nicely toned. Slightly porous and with two test cuts on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
