Constantius I, as Caesar, 293-305. Antoninianus (Bronze, 24 mm, 2.77 g, 12 h), Treveri, mid-end 293. CONSTANTIVS NOB C Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius I to right. Rev. CLARITAS AVGG / PTR Sol standing front, head to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding globe in his left; to left at his feet, bound captive seated left, head turned back to right; in field to right, D. Cahn 70. Cohen -. Estiot/Zanchi 42. RIC 651. Very rare. Slightly rough and with minor areas of weakness, otherwise, very fine.
