Allectus, Romano-British Emperor, 293-296. Antoninianus (Bronze, 24 mm, 4.74 g, 6 h), uncertain mint ('C' mint/Camulodunum?), circa 293-295. IMP C ALLECTVS P F I AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Allectus to right. Rev. PAX AVG / S - P / C Pax standing front, head to left, holding olive branch in her right hand and transverse scepter in her left. Burnett 148. RIC 90. RIC V.5 417. Webb 146. Very rare and with a beautiful portrait. Very minor traces of corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
