Diocletian, 284-305. Antoninianus (Silvered bronze, 23 mm, 4.18 g, 5 h), Rome, 293-294. IMP DIOCLETIANVS AVG Radiate bust of Diocletian to left, wearing consular robe and holding eagle-tipped scepter in his right hand. Rev. PRIMIS X MVLTIS XX / XXIΔ Two Victories standing facing, affixing shield inscribed VO/T X on palm-tree. Cohen -, cf. 389 (differing bust type). RIC 175. Very rare and with a highly interesting reverse. Slightly rough and with light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
