Diocletian, 284-305. Antoninianus (Bronze, 24 mm, 2.89 g, 6 h), Lugdunum, 292. IMP DIOCLETIANVS AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Diocletian to right. Rev. VIRTVS AVGG / C Hercules, laureate, standing right, holding his right hand behind his back and leaning left on club set on rock; lion's skin draped over club. Bastien 453. Cohen 504. RIC 97. Extremely rare. Somewhat rough and with a small die break on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
