Diocletian, 284-305. Denarius (Silvered bronze, 21 mm, 2.10 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 285. IMP DIOCLETIANVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Diocletian to right, seen from behind. Rev. VICTORIA AVG Victory advancing left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left. Cohen -. Hunter -. RIC 188 corr. (bust draped only). Very rare. Slightly smoothed and with minor areas of weakness, otherwise, very fine.
