Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.18 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 125-126/7. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. COS III Neptune standing front, head to left, nude but for cloak hanging around his right leg, resting his right foot on prow, holding acrostolium in his right hand and trident in his left. BMC 354. Cohen 309. RIC 788. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
