Nero, 54-68. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.38 g, 6 h), Rome, 66-67. IMP NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Nero to right. Rev. SALVS Salus seated left on throne, holding patera in her right hand and resting her left at her side. BMC 96. CBN 237. Cohen 318. RIC 67. Beautifully toned and with an excellent portrait. Tiny marks and minor flan cracks and die breaks and with light weakness on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
