Cupid riding goat to right; to left and right above, pilei; below, filleted thyrsus; all within wreath. Babelon (Fonteia) 11. Crawford 353/1d. RBW 1352. Sydenham 724b. Lightly toned and of fine style, with a wonderful rendering of the cupid on the goat. Very minor weakness on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
