SKYTHIA. Geto-Dacians. Koson, mid 1st century BC. Stater (Gold, 17 mm, 8.56 g, 12 h), Olbia. KOΣΩN Roman consul accompanied by two lictors advancing left; before, monogram of OΛB. Rev. Eagle standing left on scepter, holding wreath in its right talon; to left, pellet. Iliescu 1. RPC I 1701A. Numerous tiny marks and with minor deposits on the obverse and light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
