PHRYGIA. Bruzus. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Assarion (Bronze, 23 mm, 5.83 g, 12 h), time of Maximinus I to Gordian III, circa 235-244. ΒΟΥΛΗ Veiled and draped bust of Boule to right. Rev. ΒΡΟΥΖΗΝΩΝ Poseidon standing front, head to right and right foot set on prow, hurling trident with his right hand and holding dolphin on his left. BMC 4. Martin, Brouzos 2. RPC VI online 5631. Rare and unusually well preserved. Light pitting and with minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
