KUSHANO-SASANIANS. Peroz II, circa 300-325. AE (Bronze, 14 mm, 2.02 g, 9 h), mint in Baktria, possibly Balkh. Draped and bearded bust of Peroz to right, wearing flat crown surmounted by two bull's horns and a lotus bud; to right, 'PYLWCI KWSHAN MLKA' ('Peroz Kushan King' in Pahlawi). Rev. 'BWLZAWNDY YZDTY' ('Exalted God', in Pahlawi) Exalted God emerges from fire altar, holding wreath in his right hand and long scepter in his left. ANS Kushan 2343. Sharply struck and unusually attractive. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, extremely fine.
