INDIA, Kushan Empire. Huvishka, circa 151-190. Dinar (Gold, 18 mm, 8.00 g, 12 h), main mint in Baktria. ÞAONANOÞAO OOηÞKI KOÞANO ('King of Kings, Huvishka the Kushan' in Batrian) Nimbate bust of Huvishka emerging from clouds or a mountain top to left, wearing helmet decorated with chakra and pellets, jeweled kaftan with double-helix pattern on armlets, holding club in his right hand and scepter in his left. Rev. AΡΔΟΧÞΟ Ardoxsho standing right, holding cornucopiae with both hands; to right, tamgha. ANS Kushan 740. Donum Burns 249. Struck from the usual somewhat worn obverse die, otherwise, good very fine.
