VRO[S] - I - VS - REX Stefan Uroš II enthroned facing, crowned, holding lily-tipped scepter with double cross in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left. Rev. Christ, with nimbus cointaining three crosses, seated facing on decorated throne and holding book of Gospels with both hands; in field to left, IC above fleur-de-lis; in field to right, XC above fleur-de-lis. Jovanovic (SMC) 7-8.1. Rare and nicely toned. Pierced, cleaned and small deposits on the reverse, otherwise, about very fine.
