Within a pointed hexafoil, ‘lā ilāha illā / Allāh Muḥammad / rasūl Allāh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in very crude and deteriorated Arabic). Rev. Within an octofoil, ‘al-sulṭān / Ishāq ibn / Ilyās’ (‘Sultan Ishaq son of Ilyas’ in very crude and deteriorated Arabic). Album 1248. Rare. Nicely toned. Edge chipped, otherwise, very fine.
