SWITZERLAND. Schaffhausen. 3 Kreuzer (Groschen) 1585 (Silver, 22 mm, 2.23 g, 8 h). MO•NO•SCAFVSENSIS•85 Forepart of a crowned ram emerging to left from city gates. Rev. DEVS - SPES - NOST - RA•ES Double eagle on long cross, orb with value 3 on its chest. HMZ 2-754x. Rare and with beautiful old cabinet toning. Heavy doubling on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
