A beautiful Dupondius of Divus Augustus

Divus Augustus, died AD 14. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 27 mm, 11.10 g, 6 h), Rome, struck under Tiberius, circa 34-37. DIVVS•AVGVSTVS•PATER Radiate head of Divus Augustus to left. Rev. S - C Eagle standing facing on globe, head to right and wings spread. BMC 155. CBN 136. Cohen 247. RIC 82. A beautiful piece with a lovely green patina and an excellent portrait. Minor porosity and with tiny spots of corrosion, otherwise, about extremely fine.
