A very rare New Style Drachm

ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 3.91 g, 12 h), Xarinathes and Aristeas, magistrates, 111/0. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos and long tendril on the bowl, and with the foreparts of four horses above the visor. Rev. A-ΘE / XAPI/NAY/[T]HΣ - [APIΣTEAΣ] Owl standing facing on amphora; to riight, Demeter standing left, holding torches; on amphora, uncertain letter (possibly Θ); in exergue, [ΣΩ]; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 696. Very rare. Harshly cleaned and with a graffito on the obverse and some deposits on the reverse, otherwise, fine.
