MIDDLE DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. Late 3rd to early 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 22 mm, 10.51 g, 3 h), imitating Patraos of Paeonia. Celticized head of Apollo to right. Rev. [ΠΑ]ΤΡΑ[OY] Celticized horse­man, wearing crested helmet and full armor, galloping right and spea­ring fallen enemy, who defends himself with a shield on his left arm. CCCBM I S182 var.
