OSTROGOTHS. Municipal coinage of Rome, 493-553. 40 Nummi – Follis (Bronze, 26 mm, 7.55 g, 12 h), Rome, struck under Theoderic, circa 493-518. INVICTA ROMA Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Roma to right. Rev. Eagle standing left, wings spread and head turned back to right; to left, XL. BMC Vandals 6-7. MEC 1, -. Metlich 76a. MIB 74b. Rare. Attractive green patina and of fine style. Minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.
