SOUTHERN GAUL. Volcae-Tectosages. Mid 2nd-early 1st century BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 1.77 g), 'à la croix' type. Celticized male head to left; before, [two dolphins]. Rev. Large cross with three ornaments and one axe in quarters. LT 3298 var. (differing ornament in on angle). Nicely toned. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
