Solidus (Gold, 19 mm, 4.42 g, 7 h), Constantinopolis, circa 674-681. δ N CANЧS P Helmeted, diademed and cuirassed bust of Constantine IV facing slightly to right, bearded, holding spear in his right hand and with a shield, decorated with a horseman, over his left shoulder. Rev. VICTOA AVGЧ B / CONOB Heraclius, on the left, and Tiberius, on the right, standing facing, each holding globus cruciger in his right hand; between them, cross potent on base and three steps. DOC 10 var. (unlisted officina). MIB 7a. SB 1156. Struck from worn dies and with light scratches on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
