Gallienus, 253-268. Antoninianus (Silver, 21 mm, 3.30 g, 6 h), Rome, 253-254. IMP C P LIC GALLIENVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus to right, seen from behind. Rev. VIRTVS AVGG Virtus standing front, head to left, placing her right hand on shield set on ground and holding reversed spear in her left. Cohen 1288. MIR 38t. RIC 181. A nicely toned example with an exceptionally fine portrait. Slightly rough and the reverse a bit weak, otherwise, good very fine.
