Constantine II, 337-340. Heavy Miliarense (Silver, 26 mm, 5.38 g, 12 h), Thessalonica. FL IVL CONSTAN-TINVS P F AVG Laurel-and-rosette-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine II to right. Rev. VIRTVS EXERCITVS / TES Soldier standing front in military attire, head to right, holding inverted spear in his right hand and placing his left on shield set on the ground. RIC 46. RSC 262A. Very rare. Perfectly centered and with an impressive portrait. Minor deposits and tiny marks and with light graffiti on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
