SPES PVBLICA Spes advancing left, holding flower in her right hand and raising skirt with her left. BMC -, cf. 94 (bust draped only). Cohen -, cf. 21 (bust draped only). RIC 116. A beautiful and fresh piece. The obverse struck from a slightly worn die and with minor deposits, otherwise, good extremely fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
