Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Subaeratus, 18 mm, 2.86 g, 6 h), irregular mint, imitating Rome, after circa 130-133. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. GERMANIA Germania standing front, head to left, holding spear in her right hand and placing her left on shield set on the ground. Cf. BMC 838, Cohen 806 and RIC 1518 (for prototype). Slightly rough and with minor breaks in plating on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
