Tiberius, 14-37. Quadrans (Copper, 18 mm, 3.74 g, 12 h), Lugdunum, circa 14-21. TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Tiberius to right. Rev. ROM ET AVG Front elevation of the Altar of Lugdunum, decorated with the corona civica between laurels and stylized figures; altar flanked by columns surmounted by statues of Victory standing vis-à-vis, each holding palm frond in her right hand and wreath in her left. BMC 62. Cohen 39. RIC 32 corr. (bare head). Very rare. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die and with thin surface cracks and light deposits, otherwise, very fine.
