L•MESCINIVS•RVFVS Mars, holding spear in his right hand and parazonium in his left, standing front on low pedestal inscribed S•P•Q•R / V•PR RE / CAE[S]. BMC 86. Cohen 463. RIC 351. Two bankers' marks on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
