There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. Ali is the friend of Allah’); around, ‘ḍuriba / bi Ẓufār / sana / tisʿ / ʿishrīn / sitta miʾa’ (‘Struck in Zufar in the year 629’ in Arabic). Rev. Within five sections of a complex hexagram, ‘al-imām / al-Manṣūr / ʿAbd Allāh / amīr / al-muʾminīn’ (‘Imam al-Mansur ʿAbd Allah, Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic); continued around, ‘ibn ra/sūl / Allāh / ṣalla / Allāh / ʿalayh / wa sallam’ (‘Son of the messenger of Allah.
