VIRTVS PROBI AVG Radiate, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Probus to left, holding spear in his right hand and shield, decorated with a horseman galloping right, in his left. Rev. ADVENTVS PROBI AVG Probus on horseback to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding scepter in his left; before horse, bound captive seated left. Cohen 69. RIC 904. Nearly fully silvered and with a beautiful bust type. Minor traces of corrosion and the reverse a bit weak, otherwise, virtually as struck.
